The start-up of the second, entirely new line for the production of thermal insulation sandwich panels completed a major investment cycle worth more than 12 million KM, doubling the total annual panel production capacity to 4,500,000 square metres.
In a difficult and unpredictable business year, marked by falling raw material prices on the world market, the physical volume of sales rose by 15 to 20% compared with the previous year, depending on the product range.
Last year Alternativa ranked among the 100 largest companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and among the top 30 by exports. That contributed in large part to employee earnings in the final quarter of the year rising by as much as 31.2% compared with the same period a year earlier.
