Alternativa did not start as a panel factory. It started as a metal trader — and every hall and every line that followed was a step from reselling towards making things ourselves.

Metal, four generations back
The work of the Lemeš family goes back over 120 years, through four generations. In its earliest days Alternativa sold secondary raw materials and metal goods, from rented premises in Ilidža.

What of that path can still be measured
Three lines at the plant in Hrasnica, delivery from our own warehouse and a quality system that has stood without a break since 2005.
