The conference was opened by the mayor of Mostar, Ljubo Bešlić, who congratulated the company Sfera d.o.o. on the organisation and stressed that this is an excellent opportunity for Mostar and the whole region to advance the economy and improve business.
Together with Sika, Terrasit and Strojegradnja Sas, Alternativa was a sponsor of the 6th scientific and professional conference Sfera 2018.
More than 400 participants from the region attended and took an active part in the conference. This year’s programme included talks by some of the leading experts in construction and architecture, among them architect Mersiha Isanović, who heads Alternativa’s technical department. During her presentation the audience saw a video about Alternativa’s new thermal panel factory and learned about Alternativa’s wide product range, with the focus on polyurethane panels with a PUR core, fire-resistant polyurethane panels with a PIR core, and non-combustible panels with a mineral wool core.
The conference lasted two days, and on both days, alongside interactive lectures, business meetings, dialogues and debates, guests could visit the stands of sponsors, partners and other exhibitors. Alternativa’s stand was very well attended, and everyone interested could find out about the company’s business and its products and see their quality on the spot.
The conference is regional in character, and its aim is to bring together the profession and science, give them the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in different fields of engineering, and establish international and domestic cooperation.
