On Wednesday, 6 April 2022, a ceremonial session of the City Council of the City of Sarajevo was held, at which the awards were presented to the laureates of the Sixth of April Award of the City of Sarajevo for 2022.
The “Sixth of April Award of the City of Sarajevo” is presented as the highest civic recognition for significant achievements and significant results of work in the fields of the economy, science and education, culture and the arts, sport, and health and social care.
In March the city councillors voted by secret ballot on the proposals of the Award Committee and presented the city’s highest recognition for contribution in the field of the economy to the company ALTERNATIVA.
The prestigious award was received by director Salih Lemeš. Addressing the guests, he briefly presented the impressive results of the company ALTERNATIVA and said that he had always dreamed, imagined, taken risks and delivered, but had never expected such recognition for his work.
He expressed particular gratitude for this success to his employees, loyal customers, suppliers and advocates, and to the Employers’ Association, who recognised in Alternativa the qualities such an award calls for.
For ALTERNATIVA this is a great boost to our standing, but also an added motivation to keep going, stronger and better.
