In March 2019 Alternativa gained 18 new employees, assigned to three departments: sheet metal production, thermal insulation panel production and administration.

Salih Lemeš, general manager of Alternativa, has received the Golden Plaque for his results in the economy and his selfless contribution to the development of the local community.

At the beginning of 2019 Alternativa started producing thermal insulation panels with a rock wool core: roof, wall and facade panels in a wide range of thicknesses and RAL colours.

After the recent visit of a Dutch company and the training of its staff, Alternativa has also hosted visitors from France who came to see production on state-of-the-art panel equipment first-hand.

Since 2003 Alternativa had held the ISO 9001 certificate of the prestigious certification body TÜV SÜD, and has now aligned its business with the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.

After 2 years of painstaking work on building and installing the equipment, the new line for producing thermal insulation panels with a rock wool core has been started up.

Compared with 2017, in 2018 we increased turnover by 45% and profit by almost 50%. Looking back on 22 years in business, 2018 was Alternativa's golden year.

On Friday the employees of Alternativa celebrated another successful business year at the Hotel Hollywood in Ilidža.

The management and technical staff of the Dutch company SAB Profiel, a member of the TATA Steel group, spent three days at Alternativa training to operate a new line for polyurethane panels.
