Analysing the state of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian economy, Poslovne novine informs the public three times a year about the results companies have achieved according to their most recently filed annual financial statements.
In this way Poslovne novine has been taking stock of the domestic economy for 48 years now, and is recognised for three large and complex projects: “100 largest”, “Reliability” and “Fast-growing companies”. These are projects based on exact indicators, and in the final rankings there is no possibility of manipulation or of influence by outside factors.
All the projects are carried out in line with world standards, and the final results show in the best possible way which are our largest companies, while also revealing those recording rapid growth or holding an excellent credit rating. The “100 largest” rankings are compiled in three categories (small, medium and large companies) and according to four parameters (profit, revenue, exports and cash-flow investment).
The “Fast-growing companies” project ranks companies that have recorded growth in all key business indicators for at least three years continuously and have a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) above 10 percent. The “Reliability” project lists companies which, among other things, operate transparently and responsibly, have not had their accounts blocked for even a single day, record growth and at the same time have excellent liquidity and solvency.
A total of 33,092 companies entered the selection process — that is, every firm that filed annual reports with the competent agencies (FIA, APIF). According to the latest results, 772 companies met the criteria of the “100 largest” project, 5,215 can boast an excellent credit rating, and only 1,320 achieved rapid growth by world criteria.
Summing up the results of all the projects, Poslovne novine revealed the stars of the business sky in BiH — the companies that can boast a ranking in all three projects. There are only 107 such businesses in our country, and here is the complete list, sorted by the places where they are registered.
