Compared with the same period last year, the physical volume of production rose by 27%, sales by 36% and exports by as much as 54%. All of these results were accompanied by an increase in the company’s overall profit.
Since employees are the company’s most important resource, Alternativa’s standing task is continuous investment in its people and the improvement of the working climate and conditions. Compared with the previous year, employee wages were increased by 19%, and a one-off financial payment of 1,080.00 KM was made to every employee.
That Alternativa also takes care of the needs of the youngest is shown by the fact that the children of employees traditionally received New Year gift packages, which places the company among the highly socially responsible ones. The company’s management holds that in-house fairs and organised gatherings with customers and business partners are the best way to strengthen good business ties. In mid-December the second in-house fair was held, where visitors had the chance to tour the production plants and get to know the company’s capacity and production capabilities.
After the tour of the company, a traditional New Year celebration with a themed and fitting musical programme was held in the evening at a Sarajevo hotel. It was attended by employees and friends of the company, who had the chance to enjoy themselves and win valuable prizes. Promotional gifts were prepared for the guests as a token of gratitude for their attendance and for the successful cooperation so far.
