Corrugated sheets for roofs and façades
Corrugated sheets from Alternativa d.o.o. Sarajevo have a distinctive wave-shaped profile and are designed for roof covering and cladding. They are used in industrial construction and residential construction, with the profile selected according to the building’s use, supporting structure and expected loads.
Where are corrugated sheets used?
Corrugated profiled sheets are used on industrial halls, residential and commercial buildings, shopping centres, warehouses, canopies, agricultural buildings, garages and outbuildings. Their use as a roof covering or wall cladding depends on the technical characteristics of the specific profile.
Made to measure and choice of materials
Corrugated sheets are manufactured to the required length, profile and colour. Production to the building’s specified dimensions reduces unnecessary cutting and material waste and makes accurate installation easier. An additional water drainage groove contributes to the proper functioning of the roof covering.
Production uses galvanised, colour-coated steel sheet, with aluminium, galvanised steel and stainless steel sheets also available for profiling. Sheet thickness and material should match the selected profile and project requirements.
Fixing screws and professional installation
Corrugated sheets are secured in the lower part of the profile with suitable sheet-metal fixing screws and neoprene washers. Screws can be selected in the desired colour and to suit timber, metal or concrete structures. Installation should be carried out by trained professionals following the technical instructions for the selected profile and supporting structure.
Load-bearing capacity and certificates
The load-bearing capacity of the profiles has been verified by IMK, the Institute for Materials and Structures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sarajevo.
