Wall and ceiling panel for chambers and cold stores, up to 200 mm thick.
DetailsInsulated cold-room panels, also known as Frigo panels, are used for the walls and ceilings of cold rooms and refrigerated storage spaces where a constant temperature is required. This type of sandwich panel is widely used in the food industry, where thermal insulation and surfaces that can be cleaned regularly are important.
To meet demanding thermal insulation requirements, cold-room panels are also manufactured in thicker versions with foam cores. Topterm Frigo is available with a polyurethane (PUR) or polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core in thicknesses up to 200 mm.
The required thickness depends on the design temperature and the operating conditions of the space. Check the U-value and other technical characteristics of the selected panel configuration.
In addition to linear profiling, Frigo panels can be manufactured with a flat surface. Flat profiling is particularly useful in facilities with strict hygiene requirements because it makes the facing easier to clean.
Alongside standard coated steel sheet, stainless steel facings are also available. Select the profile and facing material according to the intended use of the space and its cleaning requirements.
When planning a cold room or refrigerated store, match the insulation thickness, facing and joint details to the project requirements. For help with selection, contact our technical consulting team and provide the intended use, operating temperature, required dimensions and panel quantity.
