Wall sandwich panel with concealed fixing — a monolithic look with no visible joints.
Details
A panel for controlled environments — wall and ceiling, for chambers and cold stores where the temperature has to stay put. Thicknesses from 80 to 200 mm, a concealed labyrinth joint and a flat sheet that washes down easily.
Panels for controlled environments, or Frigo panels, are used as ceiling and wall panels in chambers and cold stores that have to hold a constant temperature — and this is where the insulating qualities of polyurethane come fully into their own. Frigo panels can be made up to 200 mm thick, where the U-value drops to 0.09 W/m²K.
The panel has three parts: an outer sheet 0.50 mm thick, a core of polyurethane (PUR) or polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam and an inner load-bearing sheet of 0.40 mm. It is joined with a concealed labyrinth joint — no visible screw and no sealing tape, because the seal is formed in the profile of the sheet itself.
Besides the line profile a flat one can also be made, which matters particularly in buildings with strict hygiene requirements. As well as coated steel sheet, we can make Frigo panels with stainless steel sheet.

A long path through the joint and not one visible screw — no break in the insulation along the seam.

The thickest panel in the range: U-value down to 0.09 W/m²K.
