Roof sandwich panels
Roof sandwich panels with PUR or PIR cores, such as KP and KP with an inclined joint, consist of two profiled metal sheets and an insulating core. The selected core type and panel thickness determine their thermal performance.
Profiling and roof pitch
The external facing of these panels is a trapezoidal metal sheet with five ribs and reinforcement between the ribs, contributing to the roof panel’s load-bearing capacity. The internal facing usually has a linear profile; other profiles can be supplied to meet specific customer requirements.
The minimum roof pitch is 5°. A lower pitch is possible if special conditions are met, which must be checked for the selected model and the specific project.
Overhang of the upper metal facing
Customers can order PUR/PIR roof panels with an overhang of the upper trapezoidal metal facing. During production, a protective strip is applied to the overhang area to make the insulation easier to remove. The overhang length is specified by the customer, from 70 to 300 mm; the configuration must be confirmed when ordering the selected model.
Choosing a model for the intended use
For different requirements, the range includes KP RW with a stone wool core, KP Agro with an internal fibreglass facing, KP Flex with a flexible lower facing and KP Solar prepared for solar panel installation. Review the technical data of each model and choose a solution to suit the building’s requirements.
